Sugar Additions

Let’s face it in America there are many kinds of sugar addictions, from soda pop, snacks, kids cereals, to many many sugar products and processed foods… be it yogurt, even health food products, in many ways are sugar additions…

Like any addict, you have to find the pain to get off of the sugar wagon, but it’s tricky, because of all the processed foods in this country, like microwave meals, wheats, and grain products, cookbooks loaded with sugars, and just plain houses filled with easy sugary foods and stables, white sugars, flours, grains etc…

The only real solution  is multi faceted, from getting rid of all the sugars in the house, not buying any more, and using low sugar cookbooks, changing your eating and buy habits…

Most importantly not buying or making sweet foods, having them in your house, and mostly not eating them – nowhere not matter what…

The pain to do so must be greater than the habit to do so, you must make it hard to do so all the time – at home, out to a meal or any where any time…

We have an apple sauces cookbook that is great, must use it more, we have low sugar cookbook and need to use it more… even if we have to paint a very painful picture in our minds of something so horrible that we would never break this habit – like doing this once will cause us to lose our eye site, or get our legs cut off… or getting shots daily, and not being able to eat foods we love that are good for us… whatever it takes like, seeing ourselves in a wheelchair, without hands or fingers,  remember its got to be painful to stop of from eating things – that we have eat before in the past…

This has to be deep and totally real…

We on the positive side need to see ourselves loving and eating food, that we know is great for us and gives us lots of health and energy etc…
